Kalida Photographic Studio The studio is located within a major development in Marple, close to Stockport, 30 minutes drive away from Manchester City Centre. It enjoys spacious accommodation of approx. 2000 sq feet. It is quite, private and has all the modern amenities of a new building. The unit is well heated and enjoys air conditioning for the hotter summer days. The adjoining units feature a large glass atrium and offices that can be arranged for shoots after normal office hours. The main shooting area of approx 1200 sq feet features an 8.5 metre wide x 5 metre deep x 5 metre high white infinity cove. The cove is equipped with a 7 head 'High Glide' overhead gantry system that is lit by Bowens 1000jws Digital heads. The studio also benefits from an 8.5 metre wide x 5 metre high green screen. In addition, the main area has a permanent Black paper backdrop (3 metre wide), a 3 roll 3 metre holder for papers and finally a 6 metre x 4 metre plastered wall corner for room set ups. The second shooting areas gives a 4 metre x 6 metre corner shot with 2.5 metre ceiling height. The secondary area also includes a fully equipped and functional Kitchen that can be used both as a background and also a food preparation area. The studio boasts a large and well equipped private changing area that can fit 2/3 people for simultaneous make up. The changing room is located immediately off set for convenience. Rooms not shown in the pictures include: Spacious storage area that also provides street level access for most items up to the size of a car. The studio is NOT suitable for car photography. Digital Dark Room office that provides two PC's equipped with large monitors and a variety of software, an Epson 4000 colour proofer that is colour managed and finally a 2 meg leased line access to the internet. Store room and Wet Dark room that gives development of both colour and B/W film and printing for B/W only. Whilst the Studio is predominantly for Stills, as can be seem from the pictures below several video / film shoots have already taken place within the facility. The unit has available 3 phase supply up to a capacity of 63 amps per phase. A selection of Read Head and Blond lights are carried by the Studio for convenience.
